The Crystalline Lens

The Crystalline Lens

The Crystalline Lens is a transparent, flexible structure located behind the iris and has the ability to change its shape to form a sharp image on the retina for distant or near objects.  The Function of the Crystalline lens, which naturally adjusts its shape to see clearly allows us to draw a parallel to our own ability to mentally shift our focus and perception.
